The Outdoor Population Mapping data source integrates Mobile Network Data, and GPS traces from mobile applications to estimate the presence of individuals in outdoor urban environments. Mobile Network Data provides continuous, large-scale population coverage with strong temporal depth, while GPS records contribute high spatial accuracy that refines user location during detected activities.
