VPRS 5786 Register Of In-Patients

This series consists of a register of in-patients admitted to the Creswick District Hospital. For each patient, the register records the admission number, date of admission , name/residence of the patient, their age/trade, martial status, native place, religion, reason for admittance, an indication of how long the patient had been in Victoria, result of treatment and details of discharge from the hospital. The existence of further volumes outside of the date range currently held is unknown. The sole volume in custody was transferred to PROV by the University of Melbourne Archives which had originally received it as part of the E.J Semmens Collection.
