These data consist of sets of chromatograms that were obtained during the optimization of the analytical method using an ion chromatography with PAD detection for the simultaneous determination of glycerol, sorbitol and sucrose in pharmaceutical formulations. The content of each respective folder are: Folder “Analytes and some interferents”: Chromatograms of solutions containing the analytes and potential interferents; Folder “Variation of concentrations of NaOH and NaAc in eluent”: Chromatograms of a solution containing the analyte and propylene glycol (referred to as M4) obtained at different eluent concentrations, with each folder corresponding to a specific concentration; Folder “Eluent flow rate variation”: chromatograms of solution M4 obtained with different flow rate of the eluent; Folder “Injection loop volume variation”: chromatograms of solution M4 obtained with different injection loop volume; Folder “Column furnace temperature variation”: chromatograms of solution M4 obtained with different column furnace temperature; Folder “Calibration curve”: chromatograms of solutions of the analytes with concentration varying simultaneously from 0.001 to 0.300 g L⁻¹; Folder “Interferent analysis”: chromatograms of solutions of the analytes with and without possible interferent in a high concentration; Folder “Standard addition”: chromatograms of commercial samples (each displayed in a separate folder), both without and with standard addition, as well as chromatograms of standard solutions containing the respective analyte at concentrations ranging from 10 to 20 mg L⁻¹.
