The Africa Factbook is a comprehensive publication produced by the Institute of African Knowledge (INSTAK) in partnership with the African Union Commission, aiming to bust myths about Africa created by Western historians and writers over centuries. Available in Presidential Edition (800 pages) and Scholars Edition (1,200 pages), the book is fully illustrated and intended as a teaching tool to revolutionize African classrooms. It is divided into four main sections: Section A debunks key myths about Africa; Section B provides profiles and fast facts about all 55 African countries; Section C focuses on African inventions, discoveries, journeys, pioneers, innovations, and writing systems; Section D deals with the African Diaspora, chronicling the experiences of African-descended people around the world.
