Infection Mechanism of Botryosphaeria dothidea and the Disease Resistance Strategies of Chinese hickory (Carya cathayensis)

Dry rot disease poses one of the most severe threats to the current Chinese hickory industry.Through high-throughput transcriptome sequencing, we analyzed the changes in gene expression patterns in both the pathogen and the host, revealing several key genes associated with non-structural sugar synthesis metabolism and plant-pathogen interactions, including genes encoding DUF, Myb_DNA-binding, and ABC transmembrane proteins.
