A microfluidic-based point-of-care prototype with customized chip for detection of bacterial clusters via cluster-specific single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) was developed and tested on different bacterial strains. Whole-genome sequencing revealed SNP presence or absence in these strains and allowed control of results obtained by the prototype.
