ERF-LSFIRE v1.0: Data and Model Inputs for Fire–Atmosphere Simulations: Palisades

This archive contains the original input data, processed model inputs, configuration files, model outputs, and analysis materials used for the Palisades Fire simulations presented in the manuscript “ERF-LSFIRE v1.0: Coupling a Level-Set Fire Model with the Energy Research and Forecasting Model for Fire-Atmosphere Simulations.” The archive includes the original NOAA High-Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) GRIB2 data actually used as input to the Weather Research and Forecasting Preprocessing System (WPS), the original LANDFIRE FBFM40 source data, WPS configuration files, processed atmospheric and fuel inputs used by ERF and LSFIRE, and configuration files for the standalone LSFIRE, one-way coupled ERF-LSFIRE, and two-way coupled ERF-LSFIRE simulations. Model outputs and analysis notebooks used to produce the Palisades Fire results reported in the manuscript are also included. The corresponding ERF, ERF-LSFIRE, and standalone LSFIRE source code, together with the idealized verification data, is archived at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22924587. The archive is distributed as split ZIP files. Reconstruct the archive before extraction using: cat Palisades.zip.part-* > Palisades.zip
