Indian Brain Ageing Study

The dataset comprises 3T MRI scans of healthy adult subjects aged 20–50 years, collected from multiple imaging sites across India. Each participating site obtained independent ethical approval for the acquisition and sharing of data for research purposes. The dataset is gender balanced and includes only physically and psychologically healthy individuals with no history of head injury or neurological disorders. Subjects who were pregnant, born prematurely, or had any long-term disease conditions were excluded from the study. All scans were acquired from right-handed participants. Each scan was reviewed by experienced medical experts at the respective institutions to ensure the absence of structural abnormalities.
