Murray–Darling Basin Water Resource Plan Areas – Surface water (WRPA) The Basin Plan's management arrangements will be implemented at a local scale through water resource plans prepared by the Basin states for accreditation by the Commonwealth Water Minister. The Basin has been divided into 19 surface-water water resource plan areas. The boundaries of these areas are shown in the Surface Water Water Resource Plan Areas dataset. The surface-water water resource plan areas cover the entire Basin, including those areas not previously subject to water planning arrangements. The water resources in the Murray–Darling Basin to which the Basin Plan will apply are identified in the Water Act 2007 (Cwlth). These resources do not include the Great Artesian Basin water resources.墨累-达令流域水资源规划区域——地表水（Water Resource Plan Areas，WRPA）：墨累-达令流域计划（Basin Plan）的管理安排将以地方尺度落地实施，由流域各州制定水资源规划，提交联邦水利部长审核认证。该流域已被划分为19个地表水水资源规划区域，此类区域的边界已在《地表水水资源规划区域》数据集中标明。该地表水水资源规划区域覆盖整个流域，包括此前未纳入水资源规划管理体系的区域。《2007年水法（联邦）》（Water Act 2007 (Cwlth)）明确了《流域计划》适用的墨累-达令流域内水资源范畴，该范畴不包含大自流盆地（Great Artesian Basin）水资源。
