These data were generated to investigate resilience of northern lakes to climate change. Chlorophyll a concentrations in 12,644 temperate lakes in Ontario, Canada were modelled using remote sensing (see Paltsev, A., & Creed, I. F. (2021) Are northern lakes in relatively intact temperate forests showing signs of increasing phytoplankton biomass? Ecosystems. https://doi.org/10.1007/s1002 1-021-00684-y.) and then analysed using spectral methods.
