This study investigates the impact of GPR143 deficiency on global gene expression in human melanocytic MNT-1 cells. GPR143-deficient cell lines were generated via CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing, and control cell lines were established using non-targeting sgRNA. RNA-seq was performed to compare transcriptomic profiles between GPR143-deficient and control MNT-1 cells, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying pigment cell biology and retinal pigment epithelium function.
