This project investigates human-associated microbiome profiles in patients diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma. Microbial communities were analyzed from paired tumor tissue, adjacent non-tumor thyroid tissue, and stool samples to explore tissue-specific microbial signatures. Sequencing was performed using Ion Torrent 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing technology. The aim of the study is to characterize microbial diversity across different biological compartments and to identify potential associations between microbiota composition and clinical features. This BioProject provides sequencing data supporting comparative microbiome analyses in thyroid cancer research.
