资源简介:
This dataset contains a Shiny App that can be used to assess how groundwater-dependent ecosystems affect wildfires. This analysis can be viewed through an interactive map in the App that allows users to first select which ecoregion of California they want to view, and then view all groundwater-dependent ecosystems in that ecoregion. There are summary statistics for each groundwater-dependent ecosystem, including wetland type or dominant vegetation, years since a fire last occurred in that groundwater-dependent ecosystem, as well as other statistics related to the relationship between groundwater-dependent ecosystems and wildfires. Four wildfire metrics are available to view with the groundwater-dependent ecosystem spatial data: number of fires since 1950, number of years since a fire last occurred, fire threat from Cal Fire, and the most common burn severity for a cell. There is also a tab where you can explore statistics on the number of fires and burn severity for each ecoregion.
