This report explores strategies to preserve the privacy and safety of children by restricting inappropriate digital content.
Children may inadvertently access content that is violent, sexual, or otherwise unsuitable for their age. Such exposure can have lasting psychological impacts. Children may not fully understand the implications of sharing personal information online, leading to privacy breaches and potential exploitation.
Few strategies are followed to manage digital content restrictions, such as parental control, monitoring usage, etc., However, the requirements of balancing child safety and appropriate use of the digital space still need further research. This proposal intends to use generative AI-based solutions to detect the child's age and block inappropriate content before reaching children.
