Review article – Joseph Pugliese: Biopolitics of the More-Than-Human: Forensic Ecologies of Violence, Duke University Press 2020, ISBN: 978-1-4780-0907-8, DOI: 10.1215/9781478009078 The result of the biopolitics that pursues the war objectives in the Middle East is the death of people, animals, but also the destruction of animate and inanimate nature. The drones are a tool for violence and bio-wars. Their attacks are declaratory directed against terrorists, but in fact civilians are killed, including children, as well as dogs, domestic cattle, and even wild animals. The algorithms do not distinguish between humans and "non-human" beings. Killed people shared a common fate with destroyed wildlife. The military operations are directed against orchards, wells, flocks of sheep. In the twenty-first century exists an “ecocide”.
