Papillary thyroid carcinoma dataset

Fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) images collected with ethics committee approval were used in this study. Cytology preparations were digitized at 40x magnification using an Olympus BX53 light microscope in the Pathology Department of Elaz\u0131\u011f Fethi Sekin City Hospital, Turkey. All images were captured under the microscope by an experienced pathologist and labeled according to cytologic diagnoses.The dataset contains whole-slide images from 112 different patients. Among these, 1167 images are benign nodules and 1167 contain malignant cells from papillary thyroid carcinoma.
