Four reactors were operated for 110 days (2022/10/02-2023/01/19) in parallel with the short name D1 to D4. D1 was operated as a control without any additional treatment. D2, D3, and D4 were operated under elevated salinity. The salt concentration ranged from 0% to 4%, increasing by 0.2% every five days and fixed at 4% after day 100. D4 was operated with an additional 1 mM of aspirated acid.
