资源简介:
This dataset contains a series of experiments data of images in the laboratory to study bubble plumes under different source conditions: (1) air-stone diffuser, (2) single-orifice diffuser, and (3) each with two different gas flow rates. Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) was used to measure the velocity field of water in the bubble plumes. With different diffusers, we are able to generate different bubble size distribution while maintaining the same gas flow rate. The imagery in this dataset provides new observations of plume velocity with different bubble sizes, population, and flow rates, which can be used to evaluate the integral and turbulent behavior of bubble plumes. This dataset supports the publication: Li, G., Wang, B., Wu, H., & DiMarco, S. F. (2020). Impact of bubble size on the integral characteristics of bubble plumes in quiescent and unstratified water.
