We isolated four novel anaerobic species from clinical samples from men assessed for prostate cancer (as described in Hurst, Meader, Gihawi et al. 2022). Genomes of the isolates were sequenced using Illumina MiSEQ and additional MinION Nanopore sequencing where required (as described in Hurst, Meader, Gihawi et al. 2022). Whole genome sequences and genome annotated files are provided for the following novel species: Fenollaria sporofastidiosus sp. nov. (ID: EMRHCC_24), Peptoniphilus rachelemmaiella sp. nov.
