Iodine speciation, incubation, and dissolved organic iodine chromatogram data from PARAGON 1 cruise (KM2112) in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre

This record contains three Simons Collaborative Marine Atlas Project formatted datasets from the PARAGON 1 expedition (KM2112), in the North Pacific Subtropical Gyre near Station ALOHA. Three files are included: Inorganic iodine speciation profiles Iodine time-course incubation results Dissolved organic iodine chromatograms. The inorganic iodine speciation profile file contains iodide, iodate, and calculated total inorganic iodine concentrations from filtered seawater samples collected during three deployments. The iodine time-course incubation file contains iodine-129/iodine-127 isotope ratios for iodate and iodide fractions from shipboard incubation experiments conducted under filtered, unfiltered, light, and dark treatment combinations. The dissolved organic iodine chromatogram file contains chromatographic elapsed time and iodine-127I ion beam intensity from high-performance liquid chromatography inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry analyses of dissolved organic iodine extracts. These files correspond to the reviewed versions prepared for ingestion into the Simons Collaborative Marine Atlas Project database.
