资源简介:
The increase in global temperatures poses a significant threat to the persistence of viviparous lizard populations inhabiting high-elevation mountains (sky islands). These environments are characterized by wide temperature oscillations that directly influence a species' thermal tolerance.
Our research focuses on determining if a warmer thermal environment can be beneficial for a species to adapt to warming scenarios. To answer this question, we conducted an acclimatisation experiment, analyzing the differences in physiological and locomotor performance responses between pre-acclimatisation and post-acclimatisation groups.
