Bacterial community analysis in Indonesian aquaculture facilities

To elucidate the bacterial community composition in aquaculture farms in Indonesia, we collected water, sediment, fish epidermal mucus, and intestinal content samples from catfish and tilapia farms on Lombok Island. Using DNA extracted from these samples, we amplified the bacterial 16S rDNA and obtained comprehensive sequencing data.
