Styphnolobium japonicum Transcriptome or Gene expression

We made use of RNA-seq from three tissues to survey the transcriptome of Sophora japonica using Illumina platform. This dataset will be the first S. japonica transcriptome data generated from RNA-seq technology. The information provides a good database for further gene expression, genomics, and functional genomics in S. japonica. Sophora japonica is a species of small tree or shrub in the subfamily Faboideae of the pea family Fabaceae. Styphnolobium japonicum is native to eastern Asia (mainly China, despite the name; it was introduced in Japan).
