Chrysomya megacephala Transcriptome or Gene expression

Chrysomya megacephala (Fabricius) is usually noted for a vector of disease, a pollinator in orchards and the forensic adhibition in postmortem interval. Yet little is understood about its molecular mechanism. In order to understand physiological and biochemical functions of C.megacephala comprehensively, we performed de novo transcriptome assembly using short-read sequencing technology (Illumina).
