Companion workbook: Seven Ways to Power a Data Centre - Alberta configuration analysis
收藏资源简介:
Companion workbook to "Seven Ways to Power a Data Centre - What Alberta's First Live Case Tells Us About the Next Fifty Years" (Guetre, 2026). The workbook models seven optimized plant configurations solving for the same 7,300 GWh per year of firm 24/7 electricity to a Meta data centre in Alberta, under four different emissions frameworks (Alberta TIER, Suspended CER, UK Law equivalent, Geological Net Zero). Four configurations are islanded (matching Alberta's current constraint on new large loads); three are grid-connected (showing what becomes possible if Alberta modernizes grid interconnection). All configurations use Alberta cost anchors. Yellow-highlighted cells are user-editable assumptions - change any and every configuration recalculates.
