Sarbecovirus RhGB01 Genome sequencing and assembly

This study aimed to identify sarbecoviruses in the outer limits of the western range of Rhinolophidae, specifically the UK. The discovery of a novel Sarbecovirus in the UK provides evidence of widespread coronavirus distribution throughout Europe. Current viral surveillance is focused within Asia, but coronavirus distribution in Europe indicates the relevance of wider surveillance programs.
