Embankment Test Dam of Älvkarleby - Description of installed defects and their position.

The data originate from a project with a full scale rock fill embankment dam constructed at the Vattenfall Research and Development facilities in Älvkarleby, Sweden. Included in the data is a brief description of the design of the embankment dam together with the type and position of the, on purpose, installed artificial defects. Photos of the defects are included in the data set.
The test dam has been part of blind tests with i.a. geophysical monitoring methods to evaluate status of the dam and the possibility to detect the type and position of defects.
