This study investigates the transcriptional changes in mouse liver induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation and the role of ATG5-dependent autophagy in this response. Bulk RNA-seq was performed on three pooled liver samples from wild-type and myeloid-specific ATG5 knockout (ATG5 fl/fl LysM-Cre) mice treated with either NaCl or LPS. The aim was to identify genes and pathways differentially regulated by inflammation and autophagy deficiency. The data provide insights into how autophagy in macrophage modulates iron homeostasis, hepatic immune and inflammatory responses during endotoxemia.
