NIFS Module - The European Space Week, 2017

The European Space Week 2017 is organised by the European Commission under the auspices of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU and co-organised by the European Space Agency. The Copernicus Masters is an international competition that awards prizes to innovative solutions, developments and ideas for business and society based on Earth observation data.

NIFS Module is a continuation of the NIFS program (Nature Hazard - Infrastructure - Flood - Landslide) and participates in the Klima 2050 Partnership. The NIFS program has been a joint effort between the Norwegian National Rail Administration, the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, which are all partners in Klima 2050. The agencies have major common challenges, and good collaboration is cost-effective and competence-building for the organizations. The NIFS program was implemented during the period 2012-2015.
