Life cycle inventories and impact assessment results for future European battery waste management scenarios
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the supplementary life-cycle inventory and life-cycle impact assessment datasets supporting the study “Future climate impacts of European battery waste management: a scenario-based assessment using prospective MFA and LCA.” The datasets cover European battery waste management in the EU27+4 under Business As Usual (BAU), Recovery (REC), and Circularity (CIR) scenarios for 2020, 2030, 2040, and 2050. They include foreground inventories for the battery types, Li-ion battery chemistries, and end-of-life treatment routes considered in the study, together with direct, avoided, and net life-cycle impact results. Climate change impacts were calculated using IPCC 2021 GWP100, including biogenic CO₂ emissions and removals. Results for all 16 Environmental Footprint 3.1 impact categories are also provided. The chemistry-disaggregated material-flow data used as model inputs cannot be shared because they incorporate confidential information supplied by project partners. Aggregated FutuRaM battery stock-and-flow and recovery data are available separately at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.21128664.
