Processed sub-bottom profiler data (SEG-Y format) from the Sea of Chiloé, Northern Patagonia, Chile (FKt240902, 2024)

The sub-bottom data was collected in the Sea of Chiloé in Northern Patagonia, Chile, with a hull-mounted Kongsberg SBP29 Sub-Bottom Profiler system, designed as an optional extension to the multibeam EM124 system. The sub-bottom data set was processed onboard and the processing flow is detailed in the survey cruise report. The data files are in SEG-Y format and are arranged on a line-by-line basis. Navigation values in the header are in UTM zone 18S coordinates. The data set was collected as part of the project called Fire and Ice: Volcanic and Glacial Interactions - Chaitén eruption.
