Dataset: Association Between Intraoperative Hypothermia and Emergence Delirium Following Major Abdominal Surgery in Children: A Retrospective Cohort Study
收藏资源简介:
Dataset Overview: This dataset contains de-identified clinical data of pediatric patients who underwent major abdominal surgery under general anesthesia at a tertiary children's hospital. It was established to investigate the association between intraoperative mild hypothermia and postoperative emergence delirium (ED) in the pediatric surgical population. Included Variables: The dataset covers 4 domains of perioperative information: 1. Baseline characteristics: age, sex, body mass index (BMI), ASA physical status, preoperative core temperature 2. Intraoperative factors: surgical duration, anesthesia technique, crystalloid infusion volume, active warming implementation, time-weighted average (TWA) core temperature 3. Exposure definition: intraoperative hypothermia (TWA core temperature < 36.0 °C) 4. Postoperative outcomes: maximum Pediatric Anesthesia Emergence Delirium (PAED) score, maximum pain score in PACU, occurrence of emergence delirium (PAED score ≥ 10) Ethical Statement: All patient identifiers have been fully removed in compliance with the Helsinki Declaration. The study was approved by the institutional ethics committee, and the informed consent requirement was waived for this retrospective anonymized analysis. Associated Manuscript: This dataset supports the findings of the original research article titled "Association Between Intraoperative Hypothermia and Emergence Delirium Following Major Abdominal Surgery in Children: A Retrospective Cohort Study".
