The complete chloroplast genome of Ginkgo biloba 'Huang jin wan liang'

Ginkgo biloba , a perennial woody plant belonging to the ginkgo family, is endemic to China. It integrates fruit, material, medicine and appreciation. It has important economic, ecological and cultural values. The G. bibloba variety 'huangjinwanliang' was selected from many yellow leaf Ginkgo biloba introduced from Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province after years of comparative observation. The leaf color of this variety is golden yellow from April to may, turns green from June, first light yellow green, until dark green, and turns yellow again at the end of October. It enriches the garden color tree species and is one of the important garden ornamental tree species.
