Data for: Tracking location, timing, and methods of Spartina alterniflora management across coastal China using Sentinel-1/2 time series

This dataset contains derived GeoTIFF products supporting the manuscript entitled “Tracking location, timing, and methods of Spartina alterniflora management across coastal China using Sentinel-1/2 time series”. The dataset includes province-level or regional multi-band GeoTIFF files describing the timing of different Spartina alterniflora invasion, management, recurrence, and unchanged categories across coastal China from January 2020 to December 2024. The files cover Fujian (FJ), Guangdong and Guangxi (GDGX), Jiangsu (JS), Shandong (SD), Shanghai (SH), and Zhejiang (ZJ). Each GeoTIFF contains nine thematic bands. The bands represent: (1) invasion, (2) first mowing, (3) second mowing after recurrence, (4) waterlogging after mowing, (5) chemical control, (6) recurrence, (7) waterlogging no mowing, (8) biological substitution, and (9) unchanged class. Pixel values from 0 to 59 represent monthly timing from January 2020 to December 2024, where 0 corresponds to January 2020 and 59 corresponds to December 2024. The original Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 imagery used in the study are publicly available through Google Earth Engine.
