Gobio acutipinnatus Transcriptome or Gene expression

Gobio acutipinnatus is an endemic fish of the Irtysh River basin in Sinkiang, northwest China. The wide distribution of the species makes it an ideal model for ecological analyses in this area, which has been rarely performed before. However, at present the available molecular markers for this species are very scarce. Transcriptomes from brains and livers of six individuals, which were collected from up-, mid- and down- streams of the river located in China, were sequenced using Illumina paired-end sequencing technology.
