SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FRUIT GROWING SECTOR IN UZBEKISTAN: INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES, WAYS TO INCREASE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY AND EXPORT POTENTIAL

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the prospects for sustainable development of the fruit growing sector in Uzbekistan, the processes of introducing innovative technologies, economic efficiency and export potential. The main goal of the study is to increase production efficiency in the fruit growing sector, assess the possibilities of using modern agro-technologies and identify factors that ensure competitiveness in international markets. The study used statistical analysis, comparative analysis, a systematic approach and scientific literature review methods. The results showed that the development of an intensive gardening system in Uzbekistan, the use of water-saving technologies, the use of digital agricultural tools and the improvement of export infrastructure are important factors in increasing the economic efficiency of the fruit growing sector. The study substantiated the need for deep processing of products, the introduction of international certification systems and the formation of export products with high added value based on international experience. The development prospects of the fruit growing sector for the period up to 2030 were also assessed, and innovative management, environmental sustainability and digital transformation were identified as the main development directions. The research results are of practical importance for improving agricultural policy, increasing farm efficiency, and developing an export-oriented fruit growing system.
