meta-analysis.cz: harmonised estimate-level data from meta-analyses in economics

What this deposit contains. The harmonised estimate-level table pooling 39 economics meta-analysis literatures, the machine-readable dataset index, a column-level codebook for each of the 44 source datasets, and the documentation. It does not contain the per-dataset format conversions, the papers themselves, or their replication packages; those remain at https://meta-analysis.cz. What the numbers mean. 44 datasets contain 65,349 rows in the converted source files. After each paper's own analysis selection, and where necessary a reshape of wide data into estimate-level form, those become 61,294 estimates. The harmonised table pools 54,076 of them across 39 literatures. The harmonised table holds one row per harmonised observation, not always per independent estimate: price_puzzle reshapes wide impulse-response columns into one row per horizon, and house_prices contributes about seven horizons per response. Check the horizon column before treating rows as independent. Review status. 20 of the 39 pooled literatures have code-based verification: 19 checked against the paper's own replication code, with the evidence quoted per dataset, and 1 traced through it. The remaining 19 rest on an arithmetic effect/standard-error pairing and are provisional. Every dataset publishes an audit_status. This is a beta release. Licence. Everything here is released under CC BY 4.0, as is everything on meta-analysis.cz: the datasets, their format conversions, the pooled table, the codebooks, the documentation and the papers. You may use, adapt and redistribute any of it for any purpose, including commercially and including as training data for machine-learning models. The only condition is credit: cite the individual paper whose data you use, and this collection when you use the whole. Every dataset in datasets.json carries rights_status: cc-by-4.0 and a license_url, so nothing here needs a judgement call.
