Survey about Use of Cultural activities and Media 1991

Statistics Norway conducted in 1991 a survey of culture and media use on behalf of the Norwegian Council of Culture, Ministry of Culture and some others culture organizations. The survey was conducted on the initiative from eg. the Coordinating Committee for cultural statistics, based on an initiative from the Norwegian Council of Culture. The information is retrieved using four quarterly surveys conducted during 1991. The survey provides information on the use of / participation in radio, television, newspapers, magazines, books, cinema, theater, concerts, exhibitions, associations, communities and sports. This can be analyzed against data on family situation, education, employment and income, political sympathies, values and trust in social institutions.
