INCLUSIFY

The INCLUSIFY dataset was co-created by Maastricht University and the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing, targeting the advancement of research on German gender-inclusive language. This dataset comprises 400 annotated sentences extracted from the GC4 dataset, which underwent manual annotation to ensure the authenticity and applicability of the corpus. It is primarily employed to evaluate and refine gender-inclusive language processing models, especially regarding the detection of language inclusivity and the recommendation of alternative inclusive expressions. The application domains of the INCLUSIFY dataset primarily cover language technology, gender studies, and policy formulation, with the ultimate goal of promoting gender equality in language through technical interventions.
