Gross domestic product of Lisbon 2019-2022

The gross domestic product (GDP) of the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon increased overall during the period concerned. From 2019 to 2020, there was a reduction from 76.8 billion euros to 71.4 billion euros. However, by 2021, the GDP of the region had already increased, and, in 2022, it amounted to 87.4 billion euros. This represented over 36 percent of Portugal's gross domestic product.
