MAPAFISH tool

The goal of this tool is to, through a series of semi-qualitative questions in the form of a questionnaire, start discussions on the characteristics of (process of deciding on) a considered Marine Protected Area. Based on the answers given to the questionnaire, this tool will present semi-qualitative values on the risks of impact to be expected on a set of output indicators, such as for example Biodiversity, Revenue, or Community.
The tool is meant to evaluate the effects on nature and on commercial fisheries.
