MULTILINGUALISM AND EDUCATIONAL REFORM IN UZBEKISTAN: IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRESIDENTIAL DECREE ON FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING

This article examines the comprehensive educational reforms in Uzbekistan aimed at developing multilingual competence among the population, with particular focus on the Presidential initiatives of 2024-2025. The study analyzes the implementation of new language learning strategies, their impact on higher education institutions, and the role of foreign language proficiency in achieving national development goals. The research demonstrates that systematic government support for multilingualism has created unprecedented opportunities for international cooperation, economic development, and cultural exchange.
