资源简介:
In cuprates, the interplay between charge density waves (CDW) and fluctuations (CDF), primarily investigated via RIXS, and the superconducting order has long been recognized, as evidenced by the attenuation or abrupt reduction in intensity below the critical temperature. Understanding the role of these modulations, particularly their interaction with superconductivity, necessitates investigating their response to external stimuli. Here, we propose a pioneering study of the magnetic field-induced response of CDW and CDF in YBa2Cu3O7-δ films, enabled by the new compact spectrometer connected to high field superconducting electromagnet at ID32. We aim to elucidate how RIXS spectra at the wavevectors of CDW and CDF evolve under magnetic field of up to 9 T. By discerning potential divergences in the behavior of CDW and CDF, we seek to determine whether they share a common underlying nature and if one of them could potentially drive the pairing phenomenon.
