"Cotinga communication constrained: body size and lekking behaviour influence cotinga song (Aves: Cotingidae)"

This supplementary material includes the constructed vocalization and trait datasets, as well as the R code for the "Cotinga communication constrained: body size and lekking behaviour influence cotinga song (Aves: Cotingidae)" manuscript. In this manuscript, we investigated the influence of morphology, ecology and mating system on bird songs by focusing on a the cotinga family. Tab descriptions can be found in the MetaData tab. For the statistical analyses in ESM6, ESM7 and ESM8, we included the statistical analyses without the six 'classical' lekking cotinga species, and the analyses without the three cotinga species with only female body mass. Statistical analyses were conducted using R statistical environment v.4.4.1. All other information can be found in the manuscript.
