A dataset of carbon and water fluxes over typical ecosystems in Beijing Yanshan hilly regions (2020 – 2021)

The wide application of eddy covariance technology in water and carbon flux research has largely improved our understanding of carbon sinks and sources in terrestrial ecosystems. However, as the key ecological barrier of Beijing, the carbon dynamics of Yanshan area remain unclear, particularly for the shrub ecosystems. This dataset is the flux data from the Yanshan hilly regions in Huairou, Beijing (2020 to 2021), which contains three ecosystems − the montane shrubland, arbor-shrub mixed forest and coniferous forest. This dataset is generated and analyzed in strict compliance with the ChinaFLUX standards of ecosystem carbon water flux and meteorological data. It can help with studying the response and mechanism of Yanshan carbon sink to global change.
