Derived data and analysis scripts for "Orthobiologics in Sports Medicine: A Cross-Database Bibliometric Analysis of Web of Science Core Collection, Scopus, and PubMed"

This repository contains derived aggregate tables, supplementary methods, search strategy materials where permitted, therapy classification documentation, non-proprietary figures, and analysis scripts supporting a bibliometric and scientometric analysis of orthobiologics in sports medicine. Raw Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus exports are not redistributed because they are subject to database licensing restrictions. PubMed metadata are publicly accessible through NCBI/PubMed. Version 1.1 (2026-08-08) adds the locked Python analysis scripts (therapy classification, tables, and figure rendering), repairs the therapy_term_dictionary.csv field-column header, confirms VOSviewer 1.6.20 in tool_versions.md, aligns Table 4 wording with the revised manuscript, and replaces Figure 1 with the corrected parallel-design workflow diagram. See CHANGELOG_v1.1.md inside the archive. Version 1.2 updates the manuscript title quoted within the Zenodo dataset title and renames two legacy files so that comparison replaces validation in their filenames. The dataset-title prefix “Derived data and analysis scripts for” is retained. Figure content and database-role labels are unchanged from the published Version 1.1 archive. No search strategy, study population, analysis-ready count, therapy classification, aggregate result, or reported statistic has changed. The three databases were searched and analyzed separately, but they index overlapping literature; cross-database agreement is treated as triangulation rather than replication in statistically independent samples.
