Aspergillus flavus isolates from an outbreak at a Danish tertiary health care unit.

The dataset includes 92 clinical and 17 environmental isolates from the outbreak hospital, four from unrelated wood-fibre materials, and 54 comparator isolates (in total 167 isolates) sampled between 1983 and 2024. Sequencing libraries were prepared using a custom-modified DNA prep method (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA), (REF), pooled at equimolar concentrations, and sequenced on a NovaSeq 6000 with a 200-cycle S4 flowcell, producing 2×100bp paired-end reads or a NextSeq 550 using a 300-cycle flowcell producing 2x150bp paired-end reads.
