资源简介:

GT The aim of this proposal is to investigate the soft and hard tail emissionproperties of cooling neutron stars in the energy range 0.1 10 keV, makinguse of the unprecedented sensitivity of the EPICPN/MOS and RGS instrumentsaboard XMM. Timing studies will allow us to constrain the pulsars temporalemission properties and to perform pulsephase resolved spectroscopy. The relative phase between the pulsars Xray and radio pulse will bedetermined. Widefield imaging with MOS and the OM will help to constrainthe nature of Xray sources discovered recently in the pulsars neighborhoodand being claimed to represent the clumpy part of a pulsarwind nebula.Note: See note on PSR105552 within Included Scientific Justification file. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
