One gastrocnemius muscle was injected with the ERS-drug tunicamycin, the other with control saline solution and muscles were used to prepare RNA. Overall design: 9 mice were used for injections and RNA was prepared from gastrocnemius muscles and then processed for analysis using MoGene-2_0-st Affymetrix microarrays according to standard procedures.
