Attention and learning strategies reveal distinct profiles of psychiatric traits - Behavioral Data
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains behavioral and self-report questionnaire data from an online study examining how distinct attention, learning, and short-term memory strategies relate to dimensional psychiatric symptom profiles. Participants completed a computationally grounded Context Generalization task involving visual stimuli that varied by color, shape, texture, and size, with task-derived measures capturing overall performance, goal-directed attention, and memory-related biases across learning contexts. The study included a preregistered full sample of 744 participants in the first session and 584 participants in a second session four to six weeks later, with recruitment enriched for self-reported autism spectrum disorder and balanced by sex at birth. Self-report measures assessed symptom dimensions relevant to autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and schizotypy. The dataset supports analyses of individual differences in cognitive strategy use, strategy stability and change across repeated testing, and associations between computationally defined learning profiles and transdiagnostic psychiatric symptom dimensions.
